TGIF! It’s day 15 of Celiac Awareness Month and today I am featuring Send Me Gluten Free!
Send Me Gluten Free is a monthly subscription service that introduces you to new gluten free products. Each month you’ll get to try 8-12 new gluten free products. You’ll get full-size and sample size food, personal care items, coupons, supplements and household products that support your gluten free lifestyle.
Send Me Gluten Free’s mission is to help the gluten free community by providing great resources and fun ways to try new products that are safe for you and your family. That mission is so important to them because they get it…they have families that live gluten free and most of their team lives gluten free too. They know first-hand how difficult it can be to find the best products and they’re here to make all of that easier with Send Me Gluten Free monthly subscription box. Use the promo code BLOG20 to save 20% off at checkout.
So let’s see what was in the May box.
Breton Original Crackers with Flax (4.76 oz) $3.28
I eat a lot of hummus, so crackers are always a welcome sight in subscription boxes. Breton’s new gluten free crackers are light and crispy, and Jeremy had no idea they were gluten free.
Toufayan Scoopable Pita Chips (6 oz) $4.50
When was the last time you had a pita chip? For me, I can’t even remember! I’ve never seen scoopable pita chips before, so this was a double bonus. Toufayan’s pita chips are also vegan, non-GMO, oven baked (not fried), all natural, and contain no cholesterol or trans-fats.
Smarty Pants Vitamins (1 packet Kids Complete and 1 Packet Adult Complete) $1.00
I take gummy vitamins every day, and I’ve tried a few different brands. Smarty Pants Vitamins are free of yeast, wheat, milk, eggs, gluten, peanuts, shellfish, artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial preservatives and salicylates.
Luna Minis in Chocolate Peppermint Stick (.81 oz) $1.00
I’ve had Luna bars many times before. Although not my favorite (too much sugar) I had not tried the chocolate peppermint stick flavor. It’s small enough that it can’t be a meal but it does make for a great afternoon chocolatey snack!
Walkers Gluten Free Shortbread (30 g.) $1.00
As you know from last week, I’ve tried Walkers gluten free shortbread cookies. Jeremy loves the shortbread cookies and they do taste almost exactly like the original. I’m not a big fan of the original (too buttery) but I do like the ginger flavored cookies!
Earth Balance Natural Peanut Butter with Flaxseed (1.1 oz) $0.38
Earth Balance Natural Peanut Butter is vegan, non-GMO and gluten free. This variety is also made with flaxseed and lightly sweetened with agave. I don’t eat peanut butter, but this version is all natural and made by a brand I love, so I know it is of utmost quality.
Slender Sticks (2 sticks, 4 g. each) $0.72
Slender Sticks are flavored, low calorie drink powders. Each stick has 15 calories, is sweetened with BetterStevia, and contains 50% or more of 9 daily vitamins.
Super Chunk is an all-purpose seasoning that’s a blend of fennel, thyme, and garlic. It can be used on chicken, fish, and vegetables, and it smells great. It’s packaged in a reusable zip baggie so it’s easy to store.
Bare Belly Organics Sunscreen Face Stick SPF 34 (.15 oz)- value $1.59
I’m happy to see that Send Me Gluten Free included an organic sunscreen in this box. With summer on the way, this is a product I know I’ll use often! It offers UVA/UVB broad-spectrum protection, and is 80 minute water resistant. It also came with a coupon for 10% off your first order from Bare Belly Organics.
The box also included a free product coupon for Sabra Hummus AND Gorton’s Seafood, as well as $1 off a box of Breton Crackers. The total value of this box (aprox. $14), including the coupons is about $23-25.
There are many reasons to sign up for Send Me Gluten Free:
